The Holy Spirit Tells of things Yet to Come

The Holy Spirit Tells of things Yet to Come

John 16;13

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

In John 16;13 we celebrate the promise of our Holy Spirit dwelling in us to lead is in all truth. Jesus says the spirit will tell us everything it has heard. Things shared by Jesus, which is meant for us to hear and embrace.

What a powerful friend we have in the Holy Spirit. One that provides us with all truth. With that truth we receive empathy, discernment, grace, mercy and so much more. We are equipped to reconcile everyone to God.

Regarding to know the future. We are not competing or comparing with other believers when the spirit gives us insight to our future.

Do you wonder why God revealed so much to his apostles, and not yet to you?

Be careful my friend, consider this perspective! We should not grudge that the Spirit does not show us things to come in this world, as he did to the apostles; let it suffice that the Spirit in the word has shown us things to come in the other world, which are our chief concern.

Men's word and spirit often disagree, but the eternal Word and the eternal Spirit never do.

The Spirit is given us to be our guide, not only to show us the way, but to go along with us, by his continued aids and influences.
